Protean City Comics

Protean City is the flagship comic line that started it all. The publisher, originally known as Sequential Comics, took on the name Protean City Comics when it began publishing this American style comic book/magazine. It introduces and follows the stories of six teens as they try do more than just survive everything the world has to throw at them. Many of the characters introduced in this comic line went on to star in their own comics.


Puck

“You’re not going to remember me”

John Hobb is a boy who accidentally stole the powers of a trickster god. He might be able to summon fairies, open portals, and lift cars but he knows that the more he uses his powers the closer the Trickster God comes to finding him.

Alina Mars

Alina was rescued from the Cult of the Appointed as a young child. She was taken in and raised by The Asset, a mysterious operative who trained her to rely on her senses and prowess more than on her telekinesis.

Sage Prince

Sage grew up an orphan at the Protean Center for Outstanding Youth. Under the watchful eye of the Lunar Lens she practiced the magical arts. A protector and powerful witch, Sage is a fierce friend and strong leader.

Ben Shultz is a boy with a great talent for technology. He can literally see wifi and control computers with his mind. He grew up at PCOY with Sage and has a deep love of drones. He has a kind heart and can find a way to see the best in even the worst people.

Kalino Kahananui grew up in Hawaii. It was there he discovered his love of surfing, a talent for math, and the ability to perfectly project the trajectory of any moving object. This blue suited nerd will pun his way into your heart

Ramón Castillo is a boy from the past. When he discovered that the adult version of himself in this timeline is kind of an asshole he decided to become the hero he always believed he could be, no matter what anyone else said.
